SOP - Adjust Commissions {Admin}
Commissions should be set on the Opportunity by the sales rep before the order is created by
1. Click Commissions Button on Opportunity Ribbon
If this Message appears an order has already been created and is associated to the opportunity - go to Step 3
2. Set commissions by
- Complete number of Reps to split commissions (up to 4 can be chosen)
- Click on look up to attach Sales Rep
- Add Commission %
- Click Save
3. Commissions that have been already set can be reviewed and/or updated by navigating to related records and choosing related commissions.
4. When related commission display, double click anywhere in white on row to open
5. Adjust Commission % and Sales Rep Name and Save & Close
6. If more than 1 commission is required, click on +New Commission to add another commission (Follow Step 5 - commission splits must equal 100% totaled)
7. If an order has already been created, the commissions attached to the order need to be adjusted. Navigate to the related order by clicking on Related, and then orders
8. Identify order that requires commission update and click on Name of order to open.
9. Once order is open, navigate to related commissions
10. Follow Step 5 to adjust commission and if needed Step 6 to add new Commission.
