SOP - Reset / Adjust Opportunity Sales Stages {Admin}
User will provide link to Opportunity that does not have a corresponding task to move sales stage forward.
Why does this happen?
- Workflow Times out
- Workflow does not trigger
- Opportunity was closed and later re-opened (workflow needs to be kicked off again)
- User is unable to find task activity due to number of items in timeline - may need to navigate to related activities instead. (training issue)
- User accidently canceled task activity instead of completing it. (training issue)
Step 1
Confirm by checking timeline and related activities if a task activity exists related to moving opportunity to next sales stage
If tasks exists - respond to user showing how to navigate to and complete task to move sales stage forward (training Issue)
Step 2
If no activity exists - rerun workflow by navigating to Flow> OnCreate (Opp) to re run workflow.
Step 3 - Task activity should now be present in timeline to move sales stage forward.
Step 4 - if User has requested to move to Sales Stage 6 (last Sales) Admins have ability to updates sales stage field (locked for other users) Sales Stage 6 is Last Sales stage - you can update directly by choosing and updating this drop down - save and Close. User is unable to Close Opportunity to WON unless it is in Sales Stage 6
6 - First Service Booked - used for Service Opportunities
6 - Machine Delivered - used for all other Opportunities
